C.K. WILDE is a co-founder of the non-profit Brooklyn Artists Alliance and has exhibited his work nationally and internationally.
C.K. WILDE returns to Rosamund Felsen Gallery for his second Los Angeles exhibition since relocating from New York. Wilde's last exhibition at the gallery looked at the narrative power and iconic potential of the horse, a singular object of [American] desire. For this exhibition, titled Sojourn, Wilde continues his practice of intricate collage and appropriation, this time as a reflective exploration of the symbolic and associative powers embedded within a range of materials. |

Gotland County Art & craft organisation in collaboration with the Nordic Association shows a selection from the exhibition CON-TEXT at Langska house in Visby. A selection of poetic and subtle artists' books in different technologies – made by 25 Nordic artists. The exhibition includes a joint project based on the individual artist's interpretation of the concept of "context". Each artist has transformed a plain cardboard suitcase into a book like object without the suitcase having lost its external shape and its function as a suitcase.

The New York Times called her the best book designer of this time. In 2001 she recieved the Gutenberg Prize, book design. The Special Collections of the University of Amsterdam Library will honour Irma Boom with a retrospective exhibition of her work - she donated her studio archive to the university in 2003. To accompany this exhibition she is producing an exceptional catalogue; a miniature book (38 x 50 mm) which contains a complete overview of her oeuvre, with commentary and more than 450 full colour illustrations on 704 pages.

Delve into a secret library of artist's books this spring with a show dedicated to the genre. Installation, projection and experiments with paper technology will all be showcased. The exhibition also includes 'Excavating Babel' by Tina Hill the Agassi Book Arts Prize winner, 2009 who has transformed over 2000 books into a towering installation. The Solihull Artists’ Book fair is open to anyone who works in book arts and related disciplines: book artists, illustrators, designers, printmakers, paper-based artists and paper engineers, zine publishers… We’re really keen to hear from everyone who shares our love of books.
The cost for a full table is £15 for the whole day. A limited number of half-tables are available at £10
The Solihull Gallery is well positioned in the centre of town, right next to Touchwood shopping centre and the Central Library. It is an 8 minute walk from Solihull train station, which is a ten to 15 minute train ride from Birmingham City centre.

To illuminate the meeting’s focus on book arts teaching practice and pedagogy, this exhibition features artist book works that were generated directly from course assignments or from self-assignments generated by the artist.

Concrete Poetry emerged as an international movement during the 1950s and 1960s in Germany and Brazil, with artists and writers in Scotland also playing an important role. The Scottish artist Ian Hamilton Finlay described the concrete poem as ‘a model, of order, even if set in a space which is full of doubt’.
