been repressed, censored or banned. Fifty artists, including

from October 2007 to January 2008. This smaller version of
the original show is now at the centre des livres d’artistes, and

participants, to submit work via the postal service, creating a
network of communication that reflects the complex and
varied meaning of the book, mapping, and social networking
in the 21st century. Mail art is a democratic genre outside of
the traditional system of art consumption through commercial
galleries.

Allan Kaprow is best known for his “happenings”, which he is
credited with inventing in 1958. Originally trained as a painter,
he developed happenings as his interest turned toward creating
environments, and was influenced by Dadaism and John Cage. |

Für den 28 Februar ist eine Finissage mit einem Bildvortrag von Tatjana Bergelt geplant.
Beginn ist ebenfalls um 19.00 Uhr.
NAUM – BooK – ART Suomi wurde in Finnland gegründet und ist eine Initiative von Tatjana Bergelt, finnische Buchkünstler national und international vorzustellen. „NAUM“ kommt aus dem Russischen und spielt darauf an, dass diese Bücher den Geist ansprechen. Die Künstler/innen präsentieren mit ihren Künstlerbüchern Wortgefechte, Bildwälder, Gedankenwelten und Wortbilder. NAUM – BooK – ART Suomi besteht derzeit aus den Künstler/inne/n Tatjana Bergelt, Joakim Eskildsen, Eeva-Liisa Isomaa, Juha Joro, Olof Kangas, Jouko Ollikainen, Alexander Reichstein, Cia Rinne, Sándor Vály und Senja Vellonen. |
